Cell Qualifications

CWA qualifications are built from smaller Units each with a credit value (one credit = 10 hours), in line with the National Qualifications and Credit Framework and are accredited by CELL Awards.

All CWA Units are delivered in one day workshops with accreditation exercises involving students’ work based projects giving 2 or 3 credits. Units are at level 4 or 5, with the majority being at level 5 (degree level).

Students can accumulate credits in small steps by completing units, which can be combined to form full qualifications.

Types of Qualification

There are three sizes of qualifications:

• Award (1-12 credits)
• Certifi cate (13-36 credits)
• Diploma (37 or more credits)

CWA currently have 35 Units from which qualifications can be built. Some of these Units can be taken as standalone Awards.
